“Mummy, Mummy! Hunger is causing my stomach spasm. Please, give me some food to eat.” little Mani said. “I’ve nothing to give you, son. Instead, you can devour me” malnourished Monica wailed in grief. Driven out of house, Mani was weeping sitting near a field. “Dear, why are you crying?” a cattleman, taking his lunch unwrapping from a napkin sitting beside him, asked. Mani told the man everything in detail. Mani’s eyes glittered in hope that the cattleman would give him a ‘roti’.  “Will you give me a ‘roti’?” waiting Mani asked. “Rather, I’ll cry for you.” the cattleman answered.
